Shaunes + Brian featured on Destination Brides!

Happy black Friday!!!  I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving!!  Wohoo!  We excited to share that Shaunes and Brian's beautiful Colorado wedding story is featured on Destination Brides!!! They have a really awesome story.  It was a winter wonderland wedding at Glen Eyrie Castle which is especially fun for me because I don't usually get to do any weddings in the snow!  

{Larken + Mark @King and Prince Resort}

I'm always on the lookout for interesting tidbits that happen or are a part of our weddings.  This one was especially easy because I've known Larken since 5th grade!  I love seeing all the different ways people honor their loved ones who aren't able to celebrate with them.  Larken's dad passed away when we were in college and she had a little picture of him on her bouquet.  I usually don't know too much background, but this time I do!  It brought back memories of high school sleepovers with the girls at Larken's house where he would always want to know the latest gossip or boy drama.  He was an amazing dad and person.  I know he would be so happy and proud of his daughter.  It was destination King and Prince Resort on St. Simons Island in South Georgia for their wedding.  Historic, boutique hotel with amazing ocean view.  Black with pink and white decor accented the circular room overlooking the ocean.  Instead of a guestbook, Larken had postcards from St. Simons Island that each guest could write them a message and they were all addressed to their home.  The candle holders were upside down wine glasses with all different shells in the bottom.  When Larken's sister in law Jenny was giving her toast she said that for her wedding Larken had made them a picture book and one of the quotes was something like, "don't marry the person you can live with, but the person you can't live without".  I think they have both found that person and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it! {Beth + Jared @Pass A Grille}

Beth's family has been coming down to Florida for vacation from Minnesota for years.  In fact, her mom has vacationed at the Bon Aire Resort on the beach since she was 5.  I'm sure they have so many amazing memories growing up there so it was definitely the perfect location for their wedding.  You might remember the engagement session I got to do in Redwing, MN with the world's largest boot last year:-)  That was Jared and Beth.  I love doing locations like that because I got to see Beth's hometown and spend a lot of time getting to know them.  Time flew by so quickly and now their married!  Their priest that married Beth's parents 38 years ago even made the trip to marry them.  They had a sweet and intimate wedding and as you can see they love to laugh and pretty much just have a good time all the time:-)  Congrats you two, thanks for letting me be a part of it!!! xoxox
