{Katherine + Brad @Eastlake Woodlands}

Katherine and Brad definitely planned a lot of very unique details!  Katherine is a librarian, and her bouquet was made of paper printed with her favorite quotes from books and letters she had gotten.  Instead of the girls carrying flowers they all had black clutches with a little Lego girls on them.  The guys also had Lego men on their boutonnieres and Lego tie tacks.  Brad also made sure the guys were prepared with everything they needed in a survival kit complete with mints, pez, and band aids.  Their card box on the gift table was even made of Legos!  Each table was accented with a different color and center piece with matching paper florals.  The cake, and escort cards you will have to see for yourself:-)  Katherine and Brad, you definitely pulled off an amazing and unique day. Congratulations!

{Jennifer + Jason @Doubletree Beach Resort}

Jennifer and Jason had a "sweet" wedding, ok cheesy sorry about that:-)  Jelly beans, Hershey Kisses, Pez, Sweedish fish, candy corn....each of their tables were a different candy name, their escort cards were in a sea of Jelly beans, and the Hershey Kisses all had their names and date and the bottom.  Their sign in table was little books each with a question on them for guests to give them advice like "How can we make each other feel special?", "What should we be sure to do our first year of marriage?".  Jennifer and Jason I can tell you from experience, find out each other's love language and be intentional about doing the things that make them feel loved:-)  Your first year of marriage be sure to NOT wait a year to eat the top of your wedding cake and enjoy your new stage of life, it's so much fun!

{Heather + Eric @ Pepin Center}

Someone I was talking to today said, "wow you must love what you get to do"!  Which, is of course exactly right and so I began thinking about exactly why I do while I was choosing my favs for Heather and Eric's wedding.  After thinking about it, the thing that is so amazing to me is that I have somehow become an artist:-)  The way I see it, each of our clients is entrusting us to capture their once in a lifetime event from our perspective so they can remember that forever.  I love the story of it all.  Take Heather and Eric for instance.  Heather has 4 sisters, coming from a family of all girls myself, I can totally relate to the sisterly dynamics, the craziness and fun that includes. Eric is kind of quiet and reserved when you initially meet him, but get him on the dance floor and craziness ensues!  His mom passed away recently, and his aunt did the mother son dance with him, what an amazing few moments that I could actually feel.  The bridal party, definite personality and love for their friends getting married.  The cake, rings, flowers, dress,  I'll leave the rest for you to see for yourself.  Those are my deep thoughts for the day:-)
