{Jade + Robby @Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay}

Just before Jade started walking down the aisle with her dad, I turned to get Robby's reaction and it was the sweetest I've ever seen, he gasped and put both hands over his mouth in shock of how beautiful she looked.  That was my favorite moment of the day!  My second favorite moment, Jade wrote an amazing letter to her parents and her dad melted as he read it.  Jade's dad side of her family is Indian and she had henna on her hands and feet and during the reception her grandmother and aunt's gave them a special blessing.  The ceremony was totally draped in white with pink uplighting, romantic candlelight, and a design of flower petals to lead them down the aisle.  Their two little dogs are so special to them, they had someone bring them just during pictures after the ceremony.  Such a great idea!  The sun was setting behind them with just the prettiest backlighting for pictures of them in the garden.  The ballroom was totally draped in white with a white monogrammed dance floor, gray textured linens and differrent heights of center pieces and candles.  Little wedding cake cookies were waiting at each place for their guests to take with them.  They also had cigars and matches both with their names on them during the cocktail hour.  One little detail I really liked was the cake table was acrylic and the legs where cylinders filled with water and pink rose petals.  It was a breathtaking setting.  Jade and Robbie danced to  Just A Kiss by Lady Antebellum and then partied the night away.  Congrats you guys, so many amazing moments!!! xoxoxo

Luv My Porch!

 It always amazes me the talents and eye people have for different things!  I know I do NOT have an eye for decorating my outdoor spaces or for holidays, in fact I hate trying to come up with something!  It is so important though for me because since I have a custom studio in my home I need the front porch to be cute and inviting for my clients.  Thankfully, my friend Tammy has the eye and is AMAZING at transforming boringness (that's probably not a word but I like it:-) to warm and welcoming.  Below here's a before picture, that's the best I could do, I know it's very boring!

Look at it now!  Tammy used the main elements I already had which were the shabby chic table/chairs and pot of succulents.  She created a little sitting space for my clients with a cute rug, mums, pumpkins, and pillows, and all incorporating our shabby chic style with fall decor.  She also added mums and little gords and pumpkins to the pot of succulants and really just created 3 little different spaces that all come together to look awesome!!  Since I have double wrap around porches we're going to do some more things with the side and upstairs outdoor living space as well.  Luv My Porch! That's what Tammy does and it's so amazing!
