Wall Artwork!

I was over at the Scobie's doing their 6 month session for the second little boy Ethan so I snapped a pic of the beautiful canvas wall grouping we did for them!  This was of Jacob their oldest son, newborn, 6 months and 1 year along with a family picture including their dog Eddie:-)  These are so nice because they can be adjusted and arranged differently or even can be added to, which is what we'll do with theirs to add Ethan's pictures and a new family one too!

Metropolitan Ministries Miracle Place Ground Breaking

Metropolitan Ministries is a pretty amazing organization that reaches out to poor, hungry and homeless men, women and children in their time of need.  They are expanding the number of families they can serve by building Miracle place which is an extension of the shelter adding 50 units that are going to allow them to assist 200 additional families per year.  I photographed the ground breaking to kick off the project which was so great to be a part of!  It was really awesome to hear Chandra Rowley, who told her story about how Metro Min had helped her and her 3 children as she was pregnant and had no where else to go.  Eight months later she's graduating from school as a phlebotomist and moving into their own apartment and back on her feet.  The headstart kids definitely stole the show as they helped throw the first shovels of dirt along with the Mayor and staff:-)  

Snail Mail Love!

Whenever I get hand written cards in the mail it makes my day, especially a compliment like this!  Thank you so much for the super sweet note Danielle and Michael:-) I had to share the love!
