We are so glad that you found us!  We truly have the best job in the world!  There is nothing better than capturing the true beauty and candid moments that you couldn’t plan if you tried. These are the moments we want you to be able to feel again and again when you flip through your album or look at your photographs.  Our goal is to create the best experience possible, from the first time we talk, to your wedding day, to hopefully all your important life events down the road.  It's not just about taking pictures, it's creating history through art.

Our studio is based in Tampa, Florida and so far we have traveled throughout Florida, the US, and Caribbean.  In 2009, 2010, and 2012 we had the privilege of working with both the WeTv and MTV networks on Tampa weddings that were cast in reality wedding shows.  We have grown into 3 teams of photographers, a graphic artist, and studio manager so we can each focus on what we do best which is creating artful and compelling images.

Here's a little more about our amazingly talented team:

.

Meet Carrie.  Hence the name, she is the founder and CEO:-)  You can find her dodging traffic, leaning off ledges, and even braving the snow all to get the money shot.  She didn’t realize the gift she had until going on a mission trip to the Philippines and falling in love with photography.  In 2007 she and her husband David, left the frozen tundra of Chicago to start a new and warmer life in Tampa, Florida.  Carrie decided to get off the corporate ladder and build one her own.  She has traveled to every state except Alaska and Oklahoma and every continent except Antarctica.  She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, is a scuba diver, doesn’t eat beef, and is a social media diva. You can see some of her work here.

Meet Carla. Studio Manager Extraordinairre!  She's super bubbly and always excited to answer any of your questions.  Carla has a background in sales and marketing and the best part is also one of our brides, so it couldn't be a better fit!  Sylense photographed her wedding in Cincinnati in August 2010.  You can see here sneak peeks here if you are curious:-)  Carla graduated from Valley Forge Christian College with a Bachelors in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Counseling, and Bible.  Her facts are definitely the most random.  She once built a derby car with a group of girls for a race because the boys said they couldn't do it.  When she was a teenager she had an old Ford Escort that had to be started with a butter knife, and she also carries had sanitizer wherever she goes.

Meet Clay.  Graphic Artist!  Clay re-touches all our work and designs everything from our albums to save the dates.  This allows us to provide a consistant style and workflow, because no matter who is shooting, Clay is there to make it look amazing.  He is from Texas, but resides in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Whitney and dog named Tamale. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with degree in design.  When Clay is not behind is 30" Apple monitor you can usually find him running with Tamale.  He can juggle 3 oranges while skateboarding, which I would like to see, and his favorite food is milk and cookies.

Meet Sylense - Lead Photographer.  Yes, like “shhhh” that is her name.  Her parents were driving down the street before she was born trying to come up with a name and her mom got annoyed with her dad and said “silence”, it stuck but with a cooler spelling.  Capturing the beauty and creating art is her joy & passion.  Her previous aspirations were to become a photographer for national geographic, but after shooting weddings she was hooked!  It is such a perfect fit with her personality and love for life.  Sylense grew up in Tampa and loves Mexican food and running along Bayshore Boulevard.  You can see her work here.

Meet Linda - Lead Photographer.   For as long as she can remember she has had a passion for both taking pictures and looking at other photographers work.  In 2004 she took some photography classes and began working and learning with other talented photographers.  She is always observing, anticipating, and capturing natural unscripted moments.  Linda grew up in Minnesota and Oregon and currently resides in Bradenton, FL with her little Chihuahua named Bubbles.  She loves traveling, live music, and dogs and horses.  You can see some of her work here

Meet Catalina.  Associate Photographer.   She was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the US when she was 21 to finish her bachelors at the University of South Florida.  Photography is her happiest and most creative outlet.  Catalina is happily married, and has a beautiful daughter, named Sophia and another one due in October so she is on a little hiatus but will be back shooting soon.  She spent 2 years of intense acting training at an academy in Columbia owned by an Argentinean professor doing everything from acting to scrubbing the floors!  She speaks English and Spanish, loves reading, movies, and dancing.

Meet Haley.  Associate Photographer.  She is actually a Floridian born and raised in Brandon.  She has a wonderful husband and 2 boys, Kyson, and Taylor.  When she was a little girl she would look out the window of a moving car and everything was a picture to her, so she knew she would be doing photogrphy from a young age.   Haley worked with children with disabilities for over 3 years, loves to read, sleeps with her feet outside the covers, and eats most of her food cold.

Meet Kandice.  Associate Photographer.  Originally from Louisiana, her family moved to the Brandon area when she was 9.  Right out of high school she went into real estate and worked with a home builder working her way up from admin to sales.  When Kandice was a little girl she carried around a disposable camera everywhere she went taking photos of anyone who would let her!  She also got to experience the other side of the camera with 5 years of modeling experience.  She's been married to her husband Matt for 8 wonderful years and has 2 sweet little boys.  Kandice loves consignment stores, the beach, snow skiing as fast as possible, and could eat chips and salsa every day!
