{Shireen + Evan}

Shireen and Evan said their I do's in both Christian and Persian ceremonies followed by a gorgeous reception at their parents beautiful estate in Tampa.  Shireen's aunt custom designed her gown, brides maid and flower girl dresses.  Shireen and Evan had a few moments during their first look before all the festivities began.  I love getting to be a part of those sweet moments they really are priceless.  The Sofreh-ye Aghd is the center of the Persian ceremony.  It is traditionally passed from mother to daughter and a spread made of a luxurious gold, cashmere, and silk.  Every detail is symbolic and part of not just the ceremony but marriage as well.  Two sugar cones "Kalleh Ghand" made out of hardened sugar and grinded together above the bride and bridegroom's head (over the scarf held above their heads) throughout the ceremony to shower them in sugar symbolizing sweetness and happiness.  The arrival of the guests, who are to be witnesses to the marriage of the couple, initiates the wedding ceremony and then comes the party and it was definitely a party:-)  Pink, purple, green and butterflies accented the entire estate. What an amazing day full of so many beautiful moments!
