Melissa + Phil

May is apparently not the time to find random circus equipment:-) Melissa and Phil were up for something totally random so that’s what we did!  Their wedding is going to be black and white themed so their outfits were black and white with some stripes and gray.  I love the black and white umbrella Melissa brought and the Mr and Mrs signs.  To mix it up a little bit we threw in some really interesting backgrounds that I just happened to find while driving through Gibsonton.  That’s where a lot of the carnival equipment is stored, but in May it was mostly on the road.  The people there were so nice, the Showtown Bar was particularly interesting.  Just down the road was an inlet to the bay with huge pine trees.  On the way back we stopped in Ybor for a night scene.  We had a blast, sometimes random is by far the best! xoxo

{Tara + Matt @Safety Harbor Resort}

Tara and Matt are the most easy going couple I think I have ever worked with!  They got married on Sunday during tropical storm Debby while it was monsooning outside!  It was almost like they didn’t even notice because they were just so happy to be getting married and nothing else really mattered to them.  I actually liked it because since we couldn’t go outside I got to be really creative with the inside of Safety Harbor Resort which has so interesting pieces of arwork, mirrors, huge windows and hallways.  One of my favorite things was during the ceremony they did a little different spin on the sand ceremony and used an hourglass with white and purple sand.  Tara’s sister is an artist and painted a canvas of a bride and groom penguin for all their guests to sign.  Matt’s gift to Tara was a glass Waterford Crystal Flower that was so pretty!  Tara and Matt told me some of the dances during the reception they were hoping their guests would do and let me tell you they did!  Peanut butter jelly!  It was one of the sweetest and most fun days I have had and I so enjoyed it.  I hope you guys have an amazing honeymoon in Alaska!  xoxoxo
