Catherine + John

I've been DYING to do an engagement or really any kind of session in a sunflower field!  Sometimes I get these ideas in my head and they just don't go away!  Unfortunately, sunflowers are pretty hard to come by in Florida, but I figured there had to be something out there.  Google led me to Sweetfields Farm which much to my excitement has a 5 acre sunflower maze!  This was January when I was doing this and the maze is only in May so I then had time to find the perfect couple to do their session there:-)  Catherine's favorite color is yellow and her wedding colors are yellow and gray so it was perfect!!!!  So we got some fun balloons to go along with it, 5 acres of gi-normours sunflowers and here you have it!  I can't wait for their wedding next April!!!  xoxoxo

Christa + Robey

This was literally the perfect evening, the sky was full of puffy clouds and amazing colors as the sun was setting.  I love how different we can make a setting look with some off camera lighting and at night, gives you a totally different feel!  Robey kept Christa laughing the whole time, so sweet and fun:-) We are so excited to be capturing their wedding in September!

{Rachael + Joseph @St. Pete Museum of Fine Art}

You could feel the excitement and joy that Rachael had as she was getting ready to see Joseph  (or Opie as everyone calls him:-) in the tea garden at the Vinoy.  I love seeing people so happy!  Rachael looked stunning in her beautiful gown and she had several very meaningful details planned.  She and her sister Rebecca, her maid of honor both wore silver bracelets that on the ends had their birthstone and their mom's birthstone as well.  Rachel's mom passed away earlier this year so it was a way to have her with them.  Rachael also had a picture of when she was a little girl and a picture of her mom attached to her boquet.  I'm sure she was looking down and so proud seeing such a beautiful celebration of her memory.  The decor was purples with just a hint of pinks.  I love how the reception was lit up with purple uplighting and also white gobo's all along the super high walls.  It was a crazy fun reception with lots of funny and sweet moments.  I especially love their first dance and Rachael dancing with her dad.  It was pretty toasty outside being June in Florida.  Opie and the guys were so much fun and so patient.  We had a blast and congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs!  xoxoxoxo
